  One child-but name torn form page from age and use born 21 May 1805

  Zedekiah Robarts was born the 29th day of Oct 1807

  Isaac Robarts was born the 3rd day of July 1812

  John C. B. (Maguire??) was born the 19th day of Oct 1814

  David F. Robarts was born the 17th day of July 1809

          Alexander NeSmith and Nancy Roberts weere married in the year of our Lord 1823 on Nov. 11th

 

          Isaac Roberts and Eliz. were married in the year of our Lord 1831- not too clear the date- Feb. 27th

 

          Robert Z. Roberts and Mary Roberts were married Nov 3 in the year of our Lord 1852

In front of the Bible is:  "Zaccheus Robarts His Book.  Zaccheus Robarts was born May 12, 1753.  Zaccheus Robarts and Nancy Brashare were married Dec 11, 1788".  All sp. is Robarts till the later names when it is sp. Roberts.  This Bible formerly owned by Mrs H M Hedgecock of Kingston, Tenn.  Given by her to the State Library in Nashville some yrs. ago.  Mrs. Hedgecock was a direct desc. of Zaccheus Roberts.  Above copy of this Bible made by Memory A. Lester in the summer of 1944 in Roane Co., Tenn
