[202] He is listed on a deed in Hernando Co., FL dtd 8 Jul 1861 as an heir to
Isaac's estate. Isaac left James and Florida, his sister, the W 1/2 of the SW
1/4 and the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/2 of Sec. 7, Twn. 21 S, Range 20 E containing
119.52 acres to share and share alike.

[203] A later deed, dtd 6 Aug 1877 (Bk B, Pg 212/214), conveys James Caper's
one-half of land to William J. Baker and shows Laura C.A. Baker as James
Caper's wife.

[204] 1870 Federal Census of Hernando County, FL - James C. is found in the home of
his uncle, James Wesley BAKER, who supposedly took him in after his father
died.

20, his wife; Harriet age 3, daughter; Clayton age 3 mo., son.

[206] The 1890 Federal Census of Hillsborough County lists Laura, age 40, b. Mar
1857; Ella Murray, age 22, b. Sep 1877, daughter; Charles Murray, age 21, b.
Oct 1878, son-in-law; Clayton, age 20, b. Mar 1880, son; Ada, age 12, b. Apr
1888, daughter. Laura states she had 3 children and 3 are living. Ella just
got married.

James' wife.
