Hernando Co., FL Deed - Bk A, Pgs 619/621 specifies he is the son of William
Jackson and Martha Baker. In this deed his parents grant he and his brother
title to property they owned including houses, stables, outhouses, etc.
His marriage is recorded in Hernando Co., FL (Bk 0, Pg 4). He married the
sister of his brother's wife on the same day.

His nickname was obtained from A History of Floral City by Marie L. Morris.
The book further states he and Alverda had two daughters: Lota; Naomi and that
he owned a sawmill located on Lake Bradley named "Baker Brothers.". The
1880 Census of Hernando Co., FL lists a son, L.P., who was born March 1880.
