[91] William Emery attended Young Harris College, GA and graduated May 1902 in the
first law class of John B. Stetson University, Deland, FL. At the time of his
death, he was the last surviving member of the class. He and Sabina moved to
Gainesville, FL in 1903 where he started a law practice which he retired from
in 1951. He was an instructor for two classes in the first law school at the
University of Florida, Gainesville, FL and was a member of the first John
Marshall Debating Society which was organized on the University campus. During
World War II he served on the Florida State Board of Appeal for selective
service. He was a member of the Methodist Church, the Gainesville Masonic
Lodge, and the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association. He also was a ardent
fisherman. He and Sabina had five daughters: Elizabeth, Mary, Nancy, Maxey,
and Sabina "Binnie".

[11] Sabine attended the East Florida Seminary in Gainesville. While working in the
Plant City Library, Sabina met her future husband, William Emery BAKER. They
courted for only six weeks before being married. Shortly after, they moved to
Gainesville, FL. Sabina was known as "Bom Bom" to her grandchildren and great
grandchildren. She was a member of the University Avenue Church of Christ for
over 80 years.

[86] Elizabeth Ann 1904-1994 never married; WAC's WWII; retired from FL State
Museum; she lived in Gainesville, FL all of her life.

[10] Mary was a life long resident of Gainesville, FL and was on the 1930 FL AAU
championship basketball team. She was a Democratic Committee woman for
Florida and attended several conventions. She and O'Neal were married for 48
years before getting a divorce. She lived all of her life in Gainesville.
they had three sons: Richard Emory "Dick"; John O'Neal, Jr.; Daniel Baker COX.

[87] Nancy "Hank" 1907 m. E.F. (Ted) Leahy. They have two sons: Ted and Bill LEAHY.
Nancy currently lives in Atlanta, GA.

[89] Sabina "Binnie" and "Bubba" lived in Gainesville, FL where Binnie grew up and
attended school. She was employed by the University of Florida Library from
1962 until 1978. She was a member of the Gainesville Womens Club and
Gainesville Garden Club. She and Bubba had two daughters, Rosemary and Carol.
Bubba, her husband, pre-deceased her.
