7. The said Mercy Gorham was the daughter of John Gorham,
baptized Benefield, England, January 28, 1620/1, died Swansea, February
5, 1675/6; and his wife Desire Howland, born Plymouth, N. E., died Barnstable,
October 13,1683; married Plymouth, N. E., 1643.
8. The said Desire Howland was the daughter of John Howland,
died Plymouth, N. E., and his wife Elizabeth Tilley, died Swansea, December
