Frank Landrum

My grandmother's 2nd husband was supposedly a Frank Landrum. She again, supposedly died in Pheonix, AZ about 1929 I can find no records. Her maiden name was Parr and her 1st husband was Oscar Derrick I have found different spellings and names for her. She was Sallie/Sarah Isobel/Elizabeth Parr b. 1892 Galveston, TX.
Any info appreciated, Thanks, Linda - linhawk@keyway.net

John Landrum

My g-g-grandfather John Landrum married Mary Martha Hambrick in 1822 in Jasper Co., GA. Their son James was born in January, 1823. In 1826 Mary Landrum Terrell requested her letter from Providence Baptist Church to go with her new husband to Pike Co., GA. What happened to John? Where did he come from? Who were his parents?

Quatie Landrum

I'm searching for any information on Quatie Landrum, a Cherokee (I'm not sure of the percentage of Cherokee blood) who was born about 1820. I don't know the place of birth. I suspect that she's related to the other Cherokee Landrums, but I'm hampered by the fact that she is listed by her Cherokee name. I do not know if she had an English name too. She married Robert Woodall, Sr. This couple appears on the 1851 Drennan Roll of Cherokees which shows them as living in Indian Territory in Oklahoma in the Going Snake District. Robert Woodall was 1/2 Cherokee and a member of the Wolf Clan. He fought with a Cherokee unit during the Civil War and was wounded. Robert and Quatie had six children.

Sally Virginia Landrum, born in 1868 in AL.

Sally had at least one sister, Mary Agnes Landrum, and one brother, Carter W. Landrum who was 18 in 1900. The Landrum family moved to Hill Co., TX in the 1880s. I say they moved as a family because Mary married my gr.gr.gr.father in 1891. The 1900 census listed Mary as a widow head of household with her brother living with her. All census information list their place of birth as AL. One source listed their father as a T. C. Landrum, b. in AL. The same source listed their mothers maiden name as McKewn also born in AL. She perhaps was a Native American.
