BEISER, Benjamin
Services and burial for Benjamin Beiser, 88, whose 23-year career in Phoenix included building an apartment house on N. Third Street, were held Sunday in New York City. Mr. Beiser, 3735 E. Earll Drive, was killed Feb. 22 in an auto-pedestrian accident at Thomas and 38th Street. Born in Poland, he came here from New York. He had been affiliated with McCoy's Motor Court on W. Van Buren and was a member of Workman's Circle. Survivors include two sons, Louis and Herman, and a daughter, Mrs. Rose Lefkowitz, all of New York City; a sister, Mrs. Yetta Lesensky of Phoenix; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Velma; two sons, William, Jr., of Scottsdale and Donald of Van Nuys, Calif., and six grandchildren. Friends may call today in Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N.
