Published in the Arizona Republic June 16, 1962. KLINE, Anna A., 100, shared the home and kindergarten quarters of her granddaughter, Mrs. Evelyn NICHOLS. Mrs. KLINE, born Anna McALEVY, March 2, 1862, in McAlevy's Fort, PA., was the daughter of a pioneer farm family. She married the late Byron C. KLINE in 1887 in Tama County, Iowa. They lived in Iowa and western Nebraska, then moved to South Dakota. He was a deputy U. S. marshall near the Rosebud Indian Reservation in what is now Gregory County, S. D. From there they went to Boise Valley, Idaho, eventually retiring in Long Beach, Calif. where Mr. KLINE died in 1957. Survivors are two sons, Harold, of Westminster, Calif., and Samuel of Escondido, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Nancy E. KENNEY (also written KENNEDY) of McMINNVILLE, Ore.; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Burial will be in Long Beach. Published in the Arizona Republic June 17, 1962. LAWLER, William A., 71, native of Kansas City, Kan., came to Arizona in 1894 and resided in Phoenix, Bagdad and Prescott. His father, the late Michael A. LAWLER, was under-sheriff of Yavapai County eight years. His uncle, the late John F. LAWLER, discovered the Hillside mine. Survived by five cousins, Michael L. LYNCH and John W. LAWLER, both of Prescott, Mrs. A. H. McLELLAN, and Sister Mary DeSALES, both of Phoenix, and Mrs. L. CURTIS of Vernon. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.
