DAVIS, Carl T., Mesa. Funeral services and burial for Carl T. DAVIS, a Mesa resident the past 15 months, will be in Colorado Springs. Mr. Davis died yesterday in Mesa Southside District Hospital. He was born in Dublin, Texas, July 30, 1893. A retired salesman for Stewart Warner Corp., he made his home in Denver for many years before coming to Mesa. He is survived by his wife, Edna W.; a son, Carl E., an attache of the U. S. Embassy at the Dominican Republic; a sister, Mrs. Lewis D. BEHRENS, Brownfield, Texas; and two grandchildren. 30 January 1960.

FRY, Thomas H., 66, Tucson. Funeral arrangements have not been announced for Thomas H. FRY, 66, son of the founder of the town of Fry, who died of a heart attack Thursday night. A native of Centerville, Iowa, he came to Arizona in 1912 and settled with his father, Oliver, at what later became the town of Fry, now Sierra Vista, which surrounds their original homestead. Thomas FRY drove the high school bus between Fort Huachuca and Tombstone for 16 years until ill health forced his retirement in 1958. He then moved to Tucson. He is survived by his wife, Lema; three sisters, Mrs. June CLARK, San Francisco; Mrs. Alice ROGERS, El Paso; and Mrs. Edna SMITH, Bisbee; two brothers, Cecil, Scottsdale, and Ervin, Fry; and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Helen GRAINGER, Douglas, and Mrs. Wanda DAVIS, Junction, Texas. 31 January 1960.

GALLEGOS, Andy, 54, Flagstaff. Funeral mass for Andy GALLEGOS, 54, will be conducted at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Rosary will be recited at the Flagstaff Mortuary. Mr. Gallegos died Friday in a Flagstaff hospital. He was born in New Mexico and had lived in Arizona for 50 years and in Flagstaff for 24 years. He was a carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Ramona; four daughters, Mrs. Soto AYOLA, Mrs. Ernest LOMELI, and Gloria and Ceclia GALLEGOS, all of Flagstaff; two sons, Daniel, Fort Ord, Calif., and Jerry, Flagstaff; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Levi, Winslow, and Manuel, Gallup, New Mexico; three sisters, Mrs. Josephine BACA, Flagstaff, and Cecelia GALLEGOS and Mrs. Candida GARCIA, both of Phoenix. 31 January 1960.

GARCIA, 31, Phoenix resident for the past 17 years who died here Friday, will be recited in Colonial Chapel, Mortensen-Kingsley Mortuary, 1020 W. Washington. Mass will be sung at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament here. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Park. Mrs. Garcia, a native of Texas, lived at 9159 W. Fillmore. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank SEPEDA; five sons, Manuel, Martin, Benny, Jr., Johnny, and Frank; a daughter, Carmen; a brother, Chester SEPEDA; and a sister, Mrs. Frances CHAVEZ, all of Tolleson. 31 January 1960.

GINN, J. Allen, Sr., 62, J. Allen GINN, Sr., nationally known horseman, died Thursday night in Good Samaritan Hospital at the age of 62. Mr. Ginn, a native of Timpson, Texas, came to the Valley 38 years ago from Longview, Texas. In the late '20's he built the houses in the Del Norte tract across from Encanto Park. He was an outstanding breeder of Palomino and walking horses and had served as president of the Palomino Horse Association of Arizona. Among the many champions he raised was Gold Moon Jr. Mr. Ginn had participated in 10 Tournament of Roses parades in Pasadena, Calif., and had been active for many years in the Horse Lovers Club and all-Palomino horse shows. He rode in the annual Wickenburg Desert Caballeros' 120-mile horse trek and in the Santa Barbara, Calif., ride. He was a member of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Posse, the Elks Lodge, and the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Ginn's ranch was located in the Wittman area, although he made his home in Phoenix at 1533 W. Camelback. He is survived by his wife, Nannie Pearl; a son, Dr. J. Allen GINN, Jr., Phoenix, president of Doctors, Inc.; a daughter, Mrs. Donald JONES of Honolulu; a brother, Edward GINN, Phoenix; three sisters, Mrs. Lyda POUNDER, Dallas, Texas; Mrs. Olie COOPER, Tyler, Texas; and Mrs. H. C. ALTON, Alice, Texas; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 30 January 1960. Funeral services for J. Allen GINN, Sr., 62, nationally known horseman, who died Thursday in Good Samaritan Hospital, will be at First Church of Christ, 801 N. Central. Graveside services will be conducted by the Phoenix Elks Lodge at Greenwood Memorial Park. 30-31 January 1960.
