GLOBE – Funeral services for Bruce HOSAY, 46-year-old San Carlos Apache Indian cattleman who died as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident at Claypool, will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Catholic Mission at San Carlos. Burial will be in the San Carlos Cemetery. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include a daughter, Rosita KIDDLE; his mother, Mrs. Blanche RUSSEL; and a brother, Homer, all of San Carlos, and a sister, Mrs. Amy WILSON, Bylas. Walker’s Globe Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.

GLOBE – The body of Mrs. Helen Marie WEPPLER, 37, who died Friday in Gila General Hospital will be sent by Walker’s Globe Mortuary to her home in Morris, Ill., for funeral services and burial. Mrs. WEPPLER, who had lived in Globe only six weeks, is survived by her husband, Henry, and by one son, five daughters, and her mother, Mrs. Maria RYDER, all living at Morris.

MESA – Funeral services for Ida Delcina PAYNE, 67, who died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Guy HAYES, in Scottsdale, will be held 10 a.m. in the M. L. Gibbons Mortuary in Mesa. The Rev. H. L. DIFFIE of the Church of God, Phoenix, will officiate. Mrs. Payne was born in Kansas and came to Arizona in 1918. She is survived by the husband, Richard C. PAYNE, Scottsdale; five daughters, Mrs. HAYES; Mrs. Sylvia ROSE, Texas; Mabel JONES, Wickenburg; Violet HAYES, California; and Florence COOK, Buckeye; three sons, Richard and Ancil, Phoenix, and Lawrence, California; 37 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Mesa Cemetery.

BUCKEYE – Joint funeral services for Troy Harry KILLMAN, 37, and his wife, Mary Genevieve KILLMAN, 31, who were killed in an automobile accident Friday, will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Buckeye Community Church. The Rev. T. M. PYLE will officiate. The couple had four children. Mr. KILLMAN is also survived by his parents, six sisters and four brothers. Mrs. KILLMAN’s survivors include her parents and three sisters.

MESA – The Rev. Arthur S. WAHL, 73, a retired Baptist minister, died at his home 124 W. First St., Saturday night after a long illness. The Rev. Mr. WAHL came to Arizona in 1923 and to Mesa in 1930. He was born in Reading, Pa., April 15, 1880. He was ordained at Crozier Theological Seminary, Chester, Pa., in 1910 and has served pastorates in Canton, Pa., Andover, N. Y., and Beverly, N. J., before coming to Arizona. He has been pastor of churches in Casa Grande, Scottsdale and Mesa before his retirement in 1933. He served as a chaplain in World War I and was a life member of the Masonic Lodge of Baltimore, Md. Mr. WAHL was a chaplain for both the Mesa Fire Department and the Mesa Police Department as well as chaplain of the Mesa lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police. Before his illness, Mr. WAHL was a familiar figure at the city police department where he went daily to give spiritual help to those who requested it. He is survived by his wife, Marie D., of Mesa; a son, Arthur S., Jr., an executive of the Mesa branch of the Valley National Bank, who is prominent in Mesa civic affairs; and a daughter, Emma A. WAHL, a captain in the Salvation Army training Center San Francisco. Funeral services will be at 3:15 p.m. tomorrow in the M. L. Gibbons Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. Richard S. BEAL, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Tucson, will officiate, assisted by Capt. Wilford HUNTER of the Salvation Army. Burial will be in Greenwood Park, Phoenix.

Edward P. PRIGNANO, 62, of 4120 N. 30th Dr., died Sunday in Good Samaritan Hospital. He operated a funeral home in Melrose Park, Ill. He first came to Phoenix four years ago as a winter visitor. He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise of Phoenix, and five children living in the East. The body will be taken to Melrose Park for funeral services and burial.

Jennie WISE, 92, resident of Arizona 63 years, dies. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the Whitney and Murphy Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Jeannie WISE, 92, who died Saturday in a local rest home. Requiem high mass will be sung at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Mrs. WISE had lived in Arizona 63 years and in Phoenix the past 30 years. She resided at 1411 E. Highland. A brother-in-law, Pierce Franklin PIUS of Yarnell, survives.

Kathryn DANIELLO Funeral services with requiem high mass will be at 9 a.m. today in St. Matthews Church for Mrs. Kathryn DANIELLO, 36, who died Friday night at her home, 2814 1/2 W. Pima. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Rosary was recited last night in the Whitney and Murphy Funeral Home. Mrs. Daniello came here five years ago from New Jersey.

Leo C. HALES Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in Palms Chapel, Grimshaw Mortuary, for Leo Carson HALES, 9, who died Saturday night in Memorial Hospital, a victim of polio. Funeral services with high mass will be at 9 a.m. tomorrow in St. Mark's Church with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Born in Phoenix, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude H. HALES, 1914 E. Washington. Besides his parents survivors include four brothers, Walter in the U. S. Army, Claude Jr., Alton, and Oscar, all of Phoenix; and two sisters, Mrs. Ray YOSE and Miss Betty Jean HALES, both of Phoenix.

Catherine CONNOR, 83, died Sunday in St. Joseph's Hospital following a short illness. She was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. She came to Phoenix eight years ago to make her home with a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude WALSH, 2210 W. Augusta. Besides Mrs. Walsh, Survivors include two daughters and three sons living in other states. The body will be taken to Los Angeles for funeral services and burial. Whitney and Murphy Funeral Home has charge of local arrangements.

Elsa THORSANDER Funeral services for Mrs. Elsa THORSANDER, 56, who died Saturday in a local hospital, will be at 10 a.m. today in Memory Chapel, A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary. The Rev. Richard G. Elzinga, pastor of the Sunnyslope Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Thorsander came to Phoenix in 1941. A bookkeeper, she lived at 8906 N. Third St. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. John HOOKOM of Arlington Heights, Ill.

TEMPE--Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie L. MATTHEWS, 85-year-old widow of Dr. A. J. MATTHEWS, former president of Arizona State College. Carr Mortuary Chapel. Women's dormitory on the campus named after Mrs. Matthews. Died in Long Beach, California, where she had lived since Dr. Matthews' death ten years ago.

BUCKEYE--John Andrew PIERCE, 73, resident of the Buckeye Valley since 1924, died on his Enterprise Ranch west of Buckeye. Native of Sherman, Texas. Came to Phoenix and farmed in Arlington and Liberty areas. While maintaining his Buckeye home, he farmed at Rim Rock and Winkelman. Death attributed to a heart attack. Survivors: wife, Cora; three sons, Byron of North Bend, Oregon, and Ted and Paul, both of Buckeye; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

AMADO--Mrs. Clara CASTRO VALDEZ, 84, of Amado, Died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nogales. Mrs. Valdez had been a resident of Arizona the past 43 years. Survivors: a sister, Mrs. Juana LOPEZ, Amado; eight sons, Rafael, Santiago, Arnulfo, Cristobal, Francisco, Jesus, Rudolfo, and Manuel; and a daughter, Mrs. Juana PINON. Mass at Amado Catholic Church.

PRESCOTT--Funeral services for Mrs. Ida C. HARGROVE, 79, at Olds Mortuary Chapel. Born March 3, 1874, in Knoxville, Tennessee and came to Arizona in 1924 from Colorado. Resided in Prescott for 20 years. Survivors: a daughter, Mrs. William SMITH, Prescott, and a son, David, Tucson.

PRESCOTT--Funeral services for the Rev. F. W. CAULKINS, 77, former pastor of the Free Methodist Church of Prescott, will be in Rockford, Illinois. He died while visiting in Rockford. Mr. Caulkins, a member of the Indiana Conference of Free Methodist Churches, was called from retirement in California to serve as a pastor in Prescott during 1951. He turned his Prescott pastorate over to his son, the Rev. W. F. CAULKINS, in December 1951. Survivors include his wife, Gerturde, his son in Prescott, three daughters and three other sons, all residing out of state.

Funeral services for Mrs. Irene WEDDL, 76, a former resident of Phoenix, who died Saturday in San Diego, will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Memory Chapel, A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary. Burial will be in Double Butte Cemetery. Mrs. WEDDL was born in Burnett, Tex., and in 1903 came to Prescott where she lived 15 years before moving to Phoenix. She lived here 35 years and 10 years ago moved to San Diego. She was ill a short time. She is survived by a son, Howard WEDDL of Phoenix; a daughter, Mrs. Juanita APPLING of San Diego; three brothers, George HODGE of Texas, William HODGE of San Diego, and Elliott HODGE of Buckeye; a sister, Mrs. Mamie LAUGHLIN in Texas; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
