32562. Arnbjørn* ÅMUNDSSON Ile⁽⁷⁶⁵⁾⁽⁹⁰⁸⁾⁽⁹⁰⁹⁾⁽⁸²⁷⁾⁽⁷⁶⁷⁾ was born about 1505 in Ile gård #31, Vikedal, Rogaland, Norway. He died after 1575 in Ile gård #31, Vikedal, Rogaland, Norway. Arnbjørn Åmundsson was first named in a lawsuit over the allodial rights to Vaula in Mosterøy. He was named as a lagrettemann in a document from 1575 and also described as previously being the first lensmann in Ile, Vats and a "distinguished and wise man". In 1563 Arnbjørn paid a tax of 6 lodd silver and 18 shillings on his estate. That would indicate that his taxable real estate was worth 6 or 7 laupar smør. Since he lived tax free at Ile (worth about 3 laupar smør), his total estate in 1563 would have been about 10 laupar smør. Children were:

ii. Åmund ARNBJØRNSSON Ile⁽⁸²⁷⁾ ⁽⁷⁶⁷⁾ was born about 1530 in Vikedal, Rogaland, Norway. He died about 1603 in Ile gård #31, Vikedal, Rogaland, Norway. Åmund Arnbjørnsson was one of the lagrettemenn who signed the credentials of the representatives from Vats who attended the 1591 coronation in Oslo. He was also one of five men in Vats who paid tax as a large landowner. His wife's name might have been Ragnhild, but that is not certain.
