133459698. Sigurd* Bonde på AGA
(766)(915)
(954)(767) was born about 1160
in Aga gård #64, Ullensvang, Hordaland, Norway. He died before 1230 in
Aga gård #64, Ullensvang, Hordaland, Norway. Sigurd Bonde was mentioned
in a document issued sometime between 1220 and 1230 concerning the transfer of
property between the church and Sigurd's son-in-law, Peder unge Sandvin. Sigurd
must have been a powerful nobleman since his grandson was a riksråd (royal
councillor) and lagmann (lawman) for western Norway. Aga, at this time, was a
huge estate, so Sigurd must have been quite wealthy. There is a possibility
that Sigurd was descended from the Aurland family and the Danish princess, Ingrid
Sveinsdatter. Sigurd may also have been the son-in-law of the lendermann Jon
Gautsson Ænes, but there is no direct proof of this. Children were:

Brynjulv på AGA(767) was born
about 1200 in Aga gård #64, Ullensvang, Hordaland, Norway. He died after
1250 in Aga gård #64, Ullensvang, Hordaland, Norway. Brynjulv lived at
Aga in the 1200 and was very probably descended from the high nobility. His
son was a lagmann and riksråd. Brynjulv could have been the grandson of
Brynjulv Kalvsson from the Faroe Islands, who was mentioned in King Sverre's
Saga. The other possibility is that he was the son of Sigurd Bonde, who was
named at Aga.
