SALEM LUTHERAN CHURCH CEMETERY
Parrottsville, Cocke Co. Tennessee
Directions: From Newport take the Greeneville Highway (321) to Parrottsville. Go through Parrottsville and go approx 2 miles from Parrottsville and turn right onto Salem Road. There is a sign on the corner where you need to turn right. It's approximately 1/2 mile on the right side of the road. Currently there is construction in this area on the highway.
We have a mixture of our Bolch kin in this cemetery, all migrating from Catawba County, North Carolina. They knew there was "a plenty" in Catawba, so they decided to bless Tennessee with their blood!! Our Bolch's changed the spelling to "Balch" once they got here.
