DESCENDANTS OF FREDERICK WEAVER AND RUTHA T. CLICK
of Cocke Co. Tennessee
Rutha T. Click, daughter of Lewis Anderson Click and Rachel Paxton, born in Cocke Co. Tennessee 24 Feb 1832 died as Rutha T. Click Hanney 13 Mar 1902 Cleveland Co. Oklahoma buried Maguire Fairview Cemetery, Cleveland Co. Oklahoma. Rutha was left a widow in 1875 when Frederick died in Benton Co. Arkansas, leaving her with a household full of small children. She met and married Nelson Hobaugh in Benton Co. Arkansas 30 Jan 1877. They subsequently moved to Collin Co. Texas and then to Cleveland Co. Oklahoma where Nelson died 22 Feb 1889, once again leaving her a widow. She then met and married Richard Harson Hanney in Cleveland Co. Oklahoma and they were married 23 Dec 1896. Richard died 1901 Cleveland Co. Oklahoma. Many of their descendants lived in Collin Co. Texas and around Shawnee and Noble, Oklahoma vicinity.
These photographs have been contributed by James Michael Click of California. Jeremiah Hudson Click was married to Samantha Teresa Alberson. He died abt 1896 in Denison, Grayson Co. Texas. Their son Zachariah V. Click married Mary Catherine Weaver, the daughter of Frederick Weaver and Rutha T. Click of Cocke Co. Tennessee. They also had a daughter LaVenia Click who was a twin and married Lee Mace. Venie died 1951 in Hobart, Oklahoma.
We are still trying to determine Jeremiah's parentage. Jeremiah's mother was a widow by 1850 living in Carroll Co. Tennessee. By 1860 she had moved over to Weakley Co. Tennessee and was 70 years old at that time. We feel there is a connection between our Click families, but just can't seem to find the documentation that we need.

Rueben Daniel "Bud" Click was the son of Jeremiah Hudson Click and Samantha Teresa Alberson. He married Minnie O. Clark. They lived around Hobart and Sayre, Oklahoma

James Homer Click was son of Zack Click and Mary Catherine Weaver. He married Della Melissa Aday. He died in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Mary Jane Watson, daughter of Barnett H. Watson and Elizabeth Weaver, dtr of Frederick Weaver & Rutha T. Click. We don't know which husband Mary is pictured with.

Clyde Ernest Click is the son of Edward Arthur Click, Jr and Mary Aline Carr of San Marcos, Hays Co. Texas
Charles Marion Hobaugh was the son of Nelson Hobaugh and his first wife Rebecca Dickson/Dixon. Nelson later married Rutha T. Click Weaver. Charles Marion Hobaugh married Sarah Woodley Weaver, dtr of Frederick Weaver and Rutha T. Click. I am guessing this photograph was taken about late 1906 or early 1907, as the child Woodley is holding, John Marion was born 29 Aug 1906. Charles and Woodley had 12 children together.
