Ref: Estate Settlements, Washington Co. Tennessee, Book S, Pg 299, 1841 Peter died intestate and his personal property was sold at auction on 17 April 1840. Following is a partial list of the items sold:

1 small gun, spun yarn, 1 stack of flax, salt, barrell of meal, wheat in the field, pepper mill, 1 kraut tub, 1 biscuit oven, dresser , 1 chest , 1 pitchfork, axes , 1 rifle gun , cradle & hoe, large kettle, 1 loom , 1 fat can, pickling tub , 1 bridle , 1 barrell, washing tub , a cupboard , 1 lantern, meal sifter, bedstead & cord , 1 stone bottle, flax wheel , bedding , 1 pewter basin, pewter dish, chickens , 1 handsaw, 5 plates , cows , 1 drawing knife, 1 looking glass , calves , 2 pieces of bacon, 1 knife box , hogs , ***** 5 GERMAN BOOKS****** 1 bread tray , sheep , saddle, corn , churn , oats

REF: DEED BOOK 23, PG 609 WASHINGTON CO. TENNESSEE 11 Oct 1841 "this indenture made and entered into this 11th day of October, 1841, between DAVIS (DAVID) CLICK, JACOB CLICK, ISAAC CLICK, JAMES BREASLEY AND ELIZABETH BREASLY, his wife, formerly ELIZABETH CLICK, heirs of PETER CLICK, Deceased, of the one part and JAMES B. CLOYD of the other part all of the County of Washington, State of Tennessee in consideration for the sum of $300.00, said land lying in the County of Washington, and being in two tracts, one tract containing 60 acres, the other tract containing 20 acres.
