MOTHER DIES IN ARIZONA
NOTE: Believe Sarah may have died in Gila Co. Arizona. Her daughter Mattie Naugle Doniphan was living there in 1930
Mrs. R. C. Kennedy (her daughter Mary Dezza Naugle Kennedy) arrived home Friday after having spent a month at the bedside of her mother, Mrs. J. J. Naugle in Arizona. The mother passed away on the day before Christmas, at the home of a daughter.
Mrs. Naugle had lived in Pauls Valley (Garvin Co. Oklahoma) a year or more with Mrs. Kennedy and another daughter, Mrs. Hunter (Maude M. Naugle) near Wynnewood.
The Editor of the Enterprise lived in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Naugle in Collin County, Texas thirty years ago. It was a Christian home of the highest type and one where many a stranger found hospitality unstinted and reserved. Mr. Naugle passed to his reward about three years ago when he also was visiting the daughter in Arizona. It can be truly said of these people that the world was made better by their having lived in it.
