Their farm was located by this cemetery. The death dates are taken from church records. Directions to cemetery: From downtown Main Street in Newport head West until you come to the Memorial Bldg & the Cosby Hwy No. 321, turn South and go 3.8 miles. Turn left on the OLD COSBY HWY 32 (at the corner is a sign for the National Guard Armory). Go .2 miles to the first road on the left & turn left. There is a sign Mt. Ranch Condiminums & Community Church. The road curves to the right on Mountain Ranch Road. Go up the hill until you come to Pat Road. It will be the first road that turns right, turn right there. Go a short distance and the cemetery is on the left. Across the back of the cemetery is an old road. Across the road is another cemetery called the Sisk Bryant Cemetery. Apparently at some point in time the Click's got into an argument with the Sisk's & some of the Bryant family and decided to start burials in their own cemetery. Maybe the other families objected to burying slaves in the same cemetery with the white folks. Our Click slaves are buried here, names unknown. Click Hux Cemetery, Cocke Co.
