Guidelines for Submission:
1. All pictures must be taken from a digital camera, or scanned, and sent through email. I will not accept photos "snail mail" for now - unless they are on CD.
2. Please obtain permission to visit and photograph the cemetery if it is on private land. Sometimes, you might even have to obtain permission for some community and public cemeteries. Most people will not have a problem with you taking pictures, though.
3. Do not pick up tombstones or attempt to adjust them if they are leaning. Photograph them exactly as they lie. (And, for the most part, please do not scrub the tombstone unless you really know what you are doing!)
4. Please, if possible, submit at least five photos from a cemetery (unless it is smaller than that) so that it can be considered a partial listing. Individual photos should go somewhere else, such as the Virtual Cemetery at www.genealogy.com.
5. If you are going to send photos of an entire cemetery, please do not send all of the photos in one email. Instead, send them in parts, with no more than 20 pictures in one email, or send the images on CD.
6. Lastly, always be courteous to anyone who might inquire about what you are doing. Even if they aren't nice to you, always smile back.
