Felix Meyers
Albert Meyers, 403 West Street, has received news of the death of his father, Felix Meyers, who passed away at Washington, D.C., early this morning.
Mr Meyers was 78 years old and nearly all his life had been spent in this city. He was a Civil War veteran and fought with the Union forces. Until last July he had made his home with Mr and Mrs Meyers in this city.
He was a member of St Mary's Church and a man held in high respect by all who knew him.
Besides his son in Rome, two daughters, Mrs Harry Warner of Rochester and Mrs Minnie Leary of Utica, and three grandchildren survive to mourn his passing.
The remains will be brought to this city for funeral services.
