The Children of Jonathan Rice and Nancy (Myers) Gerking
| Preparation
for the
44th Annual Gerking Family Reunion at Athena, OR, required
pre-registration (or as much as we could get, anyway) in order to help
the Athena Christian Church plan for food and space. That meant
nametags could be made in advance, and the idea occurred to use
pictures of Jonathan and Nancy Gerking's children to show the line of
descent on each reunion participant's nametag. The nametags
were meant to be a surprise at the reunion so I couldn't tell people
why I was asking them for pictures, and I'm very grateful for all those
who sent them without batting an eyelash. Thank you Casey, Ceridwen,
Jeanne,
Janelle, and Florence. Ten out of thirteen isn't bad, but if there's
anyone out there with a picture of David, William, or Sarah Ann, we'd
