It is family knowledge that Fritz Möller was killed in action in France in 1915. In the online grave-index of the Volksbund Deutscher Kriegsgräberfürsorge 2 Fritz Möllers were found, both of whom were killed in action in 1915 in France. After conferring on 01 Jun 2001 with his grandson Udo Kranzbühler, who stated that his grandfather was killed as a "simple soldier", it is more likely that the Fritz Möller, re on-line index in the rank of "Wehrmann" at the time of his death, is the father of Marie Möller (12). The second Fritz Möller was in the higher rank of "Vizefeldwebel" at the time of his death.⁴

Therefore Fritz was killed in action in WWI, most likely 30 July 1915, at France at the age of 31 years.^5,4 If this is the right person, Fritz Möller was buried at Grave No. 169, Colmar, France.⁴
Should the second Fritz Möller be the right person, Fritz Möller died on 30 September 1915 at France.⁴ In that case, he was buried at Block 2, Grave no. 587, Aubérive, France.⁴

     Marie Möller was born on 22 May 1909 at Barnstorf Kreis Diepholz, Land Hannover, Preußen, Germany.^4,3,2 Her full name was Marie Sophie Möller. She was the daughter of Fritz Möller and Karoline Kahmeier.^1,2,3 She was christened on 13 June 1909, her god mothers were her grandmothers: Sophie Möller, nee Wördemann, wife, of Drentwede, and Marie Immoor, nee Meyer, wife, of Wohlstreck.¹
