This postcard is of a man sitting in a buggy with two women standing at either side. On the back is written: "Miss Maud Rickel - Polk, Ohio - R.D. 2 Cousin: Please show this free card as sample. Prices - for any view 1st doz. or 4 doz. all different $1.00 or $2.00. Any style or view." The mailed postcard is stamped "A.L. Zimmerman Jeromeville, Ohio - Oct. 29, 1905." This postcard of a photographer taking a picture of a man is not what it appears to be. This is a double exposure of a photographer (A.L. himself or his father Martin?) and then of a man (his father Martin or A.L. himself?). Notice that the "two" men have the same pants and shoes.
