Thanks for coming to look at my website - I hope you find it interesting. It's based on my research into the families of BARTLE, KENNEDY, RUTTER and STOW, and you can see who I've discovered so far by following the links to the charts.

There are also pages with more detailed information (currently the BARTLE, KENNEDY and STOW pages are available - I'm still working on the RUTTER ones), which you can reach from the the links in the charts or the Index of Names. You can also use the links in the boxes below to go straight to my grandparents' details. Later on I'll be adding census extracts and pictures, where these are available.

Arthur BARTLE (1886-1954)
This line mostly from the Leeds and Bradford area of Yorkshire (West Riding), but some from Hull (East Riding) and London. Names include BARTLE, BELFIELD, BILTON, CRAVEN, FIRTH, KELLETT, METCALF and ROBINSON. More 		David Campbell KENNEDY (1878-1957)
Surnames in this line include KENNEDY, CAMPBELL and RUTHERFORD from the northern part of Perthshire, Scotland; and HARCOURT and GIBSON from Co. Armagh, Ireland (now Northern Ireland). More
Nora Emily RUTTER (1888-1946)
Among the surnames in this line are RUTTER, CAMPION, MEABURN, METCALFE, MENNILL (also spelt MEYNELL), PALLISER and SHIPLEY; most of these were from the central part of the North Riding of Yorkshire and Co. Durham. More 		Florence Ann STOW (1886-1970)
This line is from the West Riding of Yorkshire. Surnames include STOW, HUTCHINSON and EMMOTT (Kildwick); WATSON and WILKINSON (Bingley); HIRST (Pontefract area); WHEATLEY, and EELES (Lower Wharfedale area). More
