To Have Anniversary

     Hull, Ill., March 11. - Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Arnold will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, March 23, with an open house from 2 to 5 at Bird Slough Community house, one-fourth mile east of the Arnold residence.

     A family dinner will be at noon in the home.

     Mr. Arnold was born in Ohio and came to Illinois when he was 18 years old.  Mrs. Arnold was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Illinois when she was three years old.

     On March 24, 1908, Mary E. Foster and Orval Earl Arnold were married in Maquon, Ill., by th Rev. S. L. Clark.  Most of their married life has been spent in Illinois, except for three years when they lived near Hunnewell, Mo.

     Mr. Arnold is still actively engaged in farming.  They have lived on the same farm for 31 years, having lived near Hull for about 34 years.  Mr. Arnold is 74 and Mrs. Arnold is 77.

     Mr. and Mrs. Arnold have three sons and three daughters.  The sons are Russell of Hull, Everett of Plainville and Leroy of Barry.  The daughters are Mrs. Thelma Stolte of New Canton, Mrs. Ruby Ellis of Altus, Okla., and Mrs. Mary Cline of Center, Mo.  They have 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
