Grace M. (Birtz) Prunier, 88, formerly of 13 Orient St., died Monday in Pickard Presbyterian Convalescent Center, Albuquerque, NM. Her husband, Oscar S. Prunier, died in 1968. She leaves a son, Gerard R. Prunier of Ridgecrest, CA; three daughters, Lorraine C. Bonnette of Albuquerque, Jeanet R. Strohhofer of Hampton, VA, and Pauline P. Goltry of Lowman, NY; two brothers, Emile J. Birtz of Worcester and Roland Birtz of Oakham; a sister, Cecile M. Prunier of Worcester; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Elzear and Donalda (Thouin) Birtz, and moved to New Mexico 18 years ago. The funeral will be tomorrow with a mass at 10:30 a.m. om St. Joseph's Church, 35 Hamilton St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St. is in charge of arrangements.
