7. Abner4 Huff, b 1767, d aft 1850; m Arundel 21 Dec 1790 Elizabeth Browne, b 1769, d aft 1850. Abner Huff was a farmer. On 6 July 1787 he purchased from his brother John 9-1/4 acres in Arundel (York County Deeds 66:245). He and his wife Elizabeth were baptized in the Arundel Church 20 July 1794. On 10 June 1794 he was listed as an heir of James(3) Huff. Jacob Merrill and wife Sarah, 6 March 1801, sold to Abner six acres in Arundel, which was set off to Sarah in the settlement of her father's estate. Abner Huff deeded 2-1/2 acres in Kennebunkport, Maine, to Clement Huff on 4 March 1831 (York County Deeds 152:149). In the 1850 Census, Abner, aged 83, and his wife Betsey, aged 81, were living in Kennebunkport with their youngest son Jacob.
