Buchholz, 67, of Windsor Locks, died Wednesday (March 22, 2000), in Hartford Hospital. Robert was born in New Britain, on August 10, 1932 son of the late William and Emma (Essel) Buchholz. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the American Legion, Windsor Locks. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the National Weather Service (N.O.A.A.) as a Senior Electronic Engineer, by the U.S. Government. He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law Trudy Buchholz of Stuart, FL., Karen and Douglas Bussa of South Glastonbury; a son and daughter-in-law Robert and Nancy (Aleman) Buchholz of Omaha, NB; five grandchildren, Christopher Elam of Indianapolis, IN, Darryl Elam of South Glastonbury, Jessica Harris of South Glastonbury, Andrew Buchholz of Omaha, NB, Justin Buchholz of Omaha NB; a brother and sister-in-law Edward and Gerry Buchholz of Mystic; a sister and brother-in-law Lorraine and John Adamson of Connecticut. A memorial service will be held on Monday, Mar. 27 at 11 a.m in the Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Tpk., Glastonbury. A calling hour will take place at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m.
