Perley Ayer5, b Haverhill 30 Sep 1732. He was a tanner and lived in Methuen until 1765 when he removed to Haverhill where he afterward resided. He m1 Sarah Mitchell 13 Nov 17??; m2 Lois Stevens 26 Dec 1776. He d 1781; his will, dtd 27 Mar 1781, proved 7 May 1781. His wife, Lois, survived him. He devised his homestead to his son Joseph.
