He married twice. He married Ruth Wilford in Haverhill, Essex, MA, 12 Jun 1694.⁽¹⁷²⁾ (Ruth Wilford is #23199.) Ruth was born 1672.⁽¹⁷³⁾ Ruth died 29 Aug 1708 in Haverhill, Essex, MA, at 36 years of age.⁽¹⁷⁴⁾ Perley says "she was killed by the Indians in the massacre of Aug. 29, 1708, at the age of thirty-six."

He married Dorothy Martin in Amesbury, Essex, MA, 7 Mar 1709/10.⁽¹⁷⁵⁾ (Dorothy Martin is #23200.) Dorothy died aft 1714.⁽¹⁷⁶⁾
