Capt. Samuel Ayer3, b Haverhill 28 Sep 1669. He was a yeoman and lived in Haverhill. He was a man of considerable property, having a nego slave named Lot. He m Elizabeth Tuttle of Ipswich, 21 Nov 1693; and died 2 Jan 1743/4. She d in Haverhill, his widow, 29 Nov 1752. Children, born Haverhill:
