Thomas⁷ Gillespie Sr (#2473) was born in Tyrone Co, IRE c1758.⁽⁵⁰⁸⁾ In 1800 census he is shown as under 45 years of age, over 45 in 1810 census, leading to the presumption that he was born between 1755 and 1765, prob around 1758, which would make him 42 years old in 1800 and 52 years old in 1810. Thomas died bef 1820 in PA or Belmont Co, OH.⁽⁵⁰⁹⁾

He married she (Gillespie). (she (Gillespie) is #2475.)

Thomas was listed as the head of a family on the 1800 Census in Hopewell Twp, Washington, PA.⁽⁵¹⁰⁾ shown as being under 45 years of age

Thomas immigrated, c1800. Destination: America.⁽⁵¹¹⁾ It is not known whether others of the family besides Thomas, Jr also came with their father to America, but it is quite likely.
