He married Jane Gillespie in OH, by 1861.⁽²⁰⁸⁾ Note: Robert B. Gillespie says she married "Robert" Fulton; however, all VRs found say his name was John Fulton. Robert B. Gillespie further states that the children of Jane and Robert were: John, Robert, Minnie, Camm, Liza, and Nancy. This doesn't seem to agree with VRs found. (Jane Gillespie is #1765.)

Jane was born 28 Jan 1840 in OH.⁽²⁰⁹⁾ Jane was the daughter of George Love Gillespie Sr and Elizabeth (Eliza) Henderson. Jane died 28 Dec 1902 at 62 years of age.⁽²¹⁰⁾
