Little Rock, Nov. 24---Mrs. Lona Mobbs Spears, aged 67, formerly of
Greenbrier, died at a Washington D.C., hospital Thursday. Mrs. Spears is survived by two sons, Vernon and Louis Spears, both of Washington; five daughter, Mrs. Stanley Shumate of Little, Mrs. Willie Bainister of Forrest City, and Mrs. Olga Fielder, Mrs. Pauline Landis, and Mrs. Doris Landis, all of Washington; a sister, Mrs. Wash Harris of Humnoke and three half-brothers and four half-sisters. Funeral will be at the Guy Baptist Church and burial in Copperas Springs Cemetery. Time of the services will be announced.

FUNERAL SERVICES SET
Funeral services for Mrs. Lona G. Spears, aged 67, who died at a Washington D.C., hospital Thursday, will be held in the Guy Baptist Church at 2 pm Monday. Burial will be in Copperas Springs Cemetery by McNutt's funeral home. Mrs. Spears was a daughter of John and Lee Carrington Mobbs. She was born at Greenbrier December 16, 1882. Mrs. Spears was a member of the Greenbrier Methodist Church.

STEVE SPEARS DIES IN LITTLE ROCK AFTER LONG HOSPITALIZATION
Steve Spears of Greenbrier died at 8 am today in a Little Rock hospital in which he had been a patient for 25 years. Mr. Spears, a native of Greenbrier, was a son of the late Tommie and Cynthia Drake Spears. His wife, the former Lona Mobbs, makes her home at Star City. Mr. Spears was a Methodist.

Surviving in addition to his wife are five daughter, Mrs. Pearl Mobbs, Mrs. Guilas Landis, Mrs. Dorcia Landis, and Mrs. Olga Fielder, all of Washington D.C., and Mrs. Zada Banister of Forrest City; two sons, Vernon and Loyce Spears, both of Washington D.C., a brother, Virgil Spears of Conway, and three sister, Mrs. Esther Williams and Mrs. Minnie Vinson, both of Conway, and Mrs. Ida Satterwhite of Centerville.

Funeral arrangements to be announced by McNutt funeral home, are pending arrival of relatives.
