He was born Wednesday, December 12 at the Doctor's Hospital in Little Rock. He came a little early but he is ok. He weighted 4 lbs. 11 ounces and was 16 inches long. His parents are Mark and Donna Dickens. Mark is my son. We are so thankful for God's blessings on us this year. Please remember them in your prayers. Wanda Marcus Donald Dickens, infant son of Mark Edward Dickens and Donna Lynn Sinnett Dickens of Greenbrier, died Wednesday (Feb. 20, 2002) in Mabelvale. He was born Dec. 12, 2001, in Little Rock. Other survivors are a half sister, Alexandria Paige Dickens of Mayflower; grandparents, Wanda and Eddie May of Conway, Marckel Dickens of Greenbrier and Verle Don Sinnett of Mabelvale and Akie Sinnett of Mabelvale; great-grandparents, Jean Reynolds of Conway and Vernell Dickens of Greenbrier. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Don Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. |

| Death* | 4 June 1935, Spring Hill, Faulkner County, Arkansas, USA, ENDS LIFE AT SPRING HILL Tremont Ellzey, 29 Shoots Self Mattie Tremont Ellzey, aged 29, ended his life at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clint Ellzey, 10 miles northeast of Conway in the Spring Hill community, about 8:30 o'clock last night. The motive for this act was no learned. Sheriff J.I. Summers said he was informed Ellzey did not leave a note. The officer said an inquest would not be held. Ellzey returned home only yesterday afternoon from Little Rock where he had been employed at the state hospital for nervous diseases for about two years. He had also worked in Chicago. He was never married.2 |

Finley Sr. of Lonoke and Helen Whitley Finley of Little Rock, he was a member of Cabot United Methodist Church, a Son of the Alamo and a major in the Marine Corps Reserve in which he was the executive officer for India Company 3/23 at Camp Pike in North Little Rock. He was a graduate of Lonoke High School and the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in management and was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa. He is survived by his parents and his stepmother, Diana Finley of Lonoke; his wife, Amy Roper Finley; one sister, Dawn Tirman of San Anselmo, Calif.; grandmothers, Halogene Mason of Wooster and Christine Thomason of Lonoke; and a great-grandmother, Ola Glover of Wooster. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. today at Cabot United Methodist Church with burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Pleasant Valley. Arrangements are by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke. Memorials may be made to the Cabot United Methodist Church. |

Principal correspondents are William Reynolds Dyess, Arkansas State Emergency Relief Administrator and Work Projects Administrator from 1933 until his death in 1936, W. Floyd Sharp, who succeeded Dyess as W.P.A. Administrator in 1936, and other national, regional, and state officials of the F.E.R.A. and W.P.A. Reynolds. Survivors are a son, Gary Reynolds of Conway; a daughter, Linda Vanpelt of Greenbrier; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home with the Revs. Don Chandler and David Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in East Shady Grove Cemetery in Greenbrier. Pallbearers will be Kevin Reynolds, Tim Vanpelt, Brad Vanpelt, Carla Garrett, Larry Reynolds and Jerry Reynolds. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. |
