Cecilia was aged 28 and a widower of 42 Paul? Street. Her father was Charles George Fowler. [Profession unreadable]. Witnesses were Herbert? Henry Sanders and Nellie Lee [his future sister-in-law]. After the death of his first wife earlier in the year Ernest married Ellen Saunders on 31 October 1904 in the Parish Church of Wath on Dearne. He was aged 25, a widower and a miner. His father was also a miner. Ellen was aged 23 and a spinster. Her father was George Saunders, a miner. Both Ernest and Ellen were of Wath Wood. Witnesses were William Bowns and Harriet Ann Bowns.
