Cyril married Dorothy Caroline Harris at the Parish Church of Rotherham on 28 June 1924. The marriage was by license. Cyril was a farmer and resident at Sandhill Farm, Rawmarsh . His father was Samuel Ardron, a farmer (deceased). Dorothy was resident at 67 Wheathill Street. Her father was William Harris, an iron worker. Cyril was aged 23 years and Dorothy was 22.
