- Un-named settlement of employees of the Jacques Eric saw mill in 1883, in SW 1/4, section 27.
- Mr. Eric died in accident driving his horse team. His associate, Henry Gustavus, then sold the lumber and moved the mill somewhere else. The settlement died with moving of the mill.
