- Village
- Located at the intersection of county highways "C" and "E."
- Named by Edward Dawson, timber cruiser, while camping as he watched a deer drink every morning from the Eau Claire River as the sun came up.
- Deerbrook has had a post office since 1887. Today the post office is combined with the Neva post office and is physically located at Neva.
