• Rootsweb's collection of websites. One of their collections is websites categorized by surnames.

• World Genealogy Project - WorldGenWeb  - Volunteers who manage websites by location, though they do not have to live in the location they are managing a website on.  These websites may contain anything from maps to message boards to record archives.
• World Connect - Searches all the Family Trees people have made and submitted to Rootsweb

• ROOTSWEB - One of the ultimate Genealogy Websites!  Definitely very, very green.  This is mainly information given to the website from people like you and me. Because this website is so big, here are some links from within:  MarriageRecords  Alumni   Military  Cemeteries

• Census Links - Another one of those websites that contents' depends on what people contribute. Contains links to other census web pages all over the world.

• ***MESSAGE BOARDS at Rootsweb is where you can post questions and answer other people's questions. And not only that, but there are boards dedicated to certain surnames.  And people post not only queries but Obituaries, Adoptions, Cemeteries, etc.

• The Church of Latter-Day Saints keeps enormous collections of records. Search all of these at - LDS Search - This searches the entire world for birth records, death records, marriage records, family pedigrees, etc.
