WEDDING OF JEAN BORTHWICK & WILLIAM EDMUND POTTS
31 July 1890

The only definite identifications so far, aside from the bride and groom, are Jean Borthwick's father, William Murray Borthwick II, standing behind her with the white beard, and Will Pott's father, with his hand on Will's shoulder.

I suspect that the couple on the left of the bride are Maud and Will Borthwick, with daughter Molly on Will's lap but don't have any early photos of them to compare. Their son Ray, aged 4 years is possibly one of the boys at the end of the row.

I also suspect that the man on the far right of the picture in this row, surrounded by three young boys, is Will's cousin William Murray Borthwick. In July 1890 he had a daughter Ruby, aged 7, a son Percy, aged 5 and a half and a son Alan aged 4 years. The two little girls dressed alike don't fit with this family, however. Perhaps they are children of Jean Borthwick's Cameron cousins.

If you are able to identify anyone in this photo I would love to hear from you!!
