Angelo Sean Cascio Family History Angelo Sean Cascio was born after 22 hrs of labor on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at University Hospital, Stonybrook, NY. He was 8 lbs 14 oz and 21 in. long. He had brown hair and blue eyes. His proud parents are Victoria Marie Donovan and Joseph Mark Cascio. Angelo loves to suck his thumb. . He walked at 10 months. At one year of age -Angelo has light brown hair and hazel eyes. He was Christened at St Anthony's RC Church in Rocky Point, NY on May 22, 2005. His Godparents are Danielle Donovan and Justin Ertola Victoria Marie Donovan was born by Caesarian on March 23, 1984 in Saint Charles Hospital, Port Jefferson, NY. She was 8 lbs and 21 in long. She walked at 14 months old. She had brown hair and blue eyes. Her Parents are Denise Marie Donovan and James John Donovan. Victoria was Christened at St Louis De Montfort RC Church in Miller Place. Victoria has lived in Middle Island her whole life. She always enjoyed her many family camping vacations on the beach in Montauk. She began school life at 3 yrs old attending Miss Mela's Nursery School eventually graduating from Longwood HS in 2002. Vickie was always involved in school sports, playing with Longwood Youth soccer, softball, lacrosse and volleyball. She always maintained a high GPA. Vickie plays the flute and was a member of the Longwood band. Her other school activities included, flag line and Youth Court and Mock trials. Vickie also pursued jazz & tap dancing as well as acrobatics, karate , kickboxing and Junior Showmanship. Vickie was a Brownie and a Girl Scout. Vickie's favorite toy when she was young were "My Little Ponies". She learned to ride a two wheeler when she was 5. Her mother taught her how to drive. Vickie's first car was a 1987 Chevy Camaro. Her first job was at SplishSplash. Victoria is pursuing a degree in education at Suffolk Community College with the ambition of becoming a special ed teacher. Victoria has one sister Danielle and one brother James. Angelo is Victoria's first child. Joseph Mark Cascio was born November 11, 1980 by Caesarian. As a child he would buy Marvel comics and now has an impressive collection. Joe was always very musical and he played the drums in his youth. Joe was also very interested in aquariums and continues his passion for tropical fish. He now is a diesel mechanic at Laidlaw and Elite bus companies. Joe's parents are Jack and Tina Cascio. Joseph has one brother Jack. Angelo is Joseph's first child. Maternal Family History Victoria's Mother's side of the Family History Denise Marie Donovan (nee LaBate) was born on February 21, 1953 in Oceanside, NY and lived in Valley Stream til she was 3. She then moved to East Meadow where she resided 18 years and then moved to Middle Island. She graduated from East Meadow HS in 1971. Her favorite vacation was to Puerto Rico. Denise loves crossword puzzles. She graduated from Nassau Community College in 1974 with an AAS in medical laboratory technology. Denise met James in a Taxi Cab -ahaha. They were married March 16, 1975 in St Francis Cabrini RC Church, Middle Island.. They had 4 children - Danielle, James, Sean(d) and Victoria. James and Denise bought their first house before they were married on Wellington Rd in Middle Island in 1975 , then bought their second house on Artist Lake Blvd in Middle Island in 1980. Denise's mother was Pauline LaBate (nee Russo)(d), Denise's father was Anthony Albert LaBate(d). Denise has one sister Patricia Ann Reader and one brother Anthony Robert LaBate. Anthony Albert LaBate was born in NYC on August 7, 1914- died St Charles Hospital, Port Jefferson, NY March 16, 1976 of lung cancer. Worked in Manhattan on Lafayette St as a printer for over 20 years. Then bought a restaurant on Collins Ave in Miami Beach in 1969? Moved back to NY and opened a new business "LaBate Beer & Soda" in Centereach, NY. Anthony met and married Pauline in Brooklyn and married April 28, 19__. They had 3 children: Anthony, Patricia and Denise. They bought their first house in Valley Stream and then bought a new one in East Meadow at 2470 Cadillac Drive in 1956. The next house was at 29 Artist Lake Blvd in 1973. As a child Anthony went with his father Dominick to Italy on vacations. He loved crossword puzzles and loved new vocabulary words. His parents were Dominick (Domenico) LaBate and Leonora(Leonarda, Laura) Curreri. His siblings were Joseph,Katie(Katerina) , Sally(Santa) , Julius & Angelo. Pauline Mary LaBate (nee Russo)(d) born February 20, 1917. Her birth mother Anna Scarfaglia(spelling?) died a few months after she was born in the Great Influenza epidemic of 1917. Her father Alfred Russo(d) went on to marry Anna Attanasio(d). Pauline graduated HS and later in life attended State University of NY at Farmingdale.. Pauline worked for East Meadow school district as an asst dietician. She was a very active person. She had 2 half sisters, Agnes Perrone(nee Russo)(d) and Antoinette Sconzo (nee Russo)(d). Pauline was full of life and never ceased to amuse us all. She was known to be accident prone and besides being an excellent Italian cook she was famous for her hilarious accidental additions to her food. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Pauline married Anthony...................to be continued. Domenico ( Dominick) LaBate born in Scilla, Italy on March 20, 1885. He immigrated to the United States in 1902 aboard the ship Nord America out of Naples . He arrived at the age of 17 along with his sister Concetta. He returned to Italy and immigrated back to the US in 1909 at the age of 24 along with his sister Concetta and his sister Guiseppina. Domenico was a tailor who produced fine men's suits. This is his label. He was very proud of his stitches. Domenico married Leonora Curreri October 14, 1905 in Manhattan. . Their children were Katie, Santa, Angelo, Joseph, Anthony and Julius. Domenico's father was Angelo LaBate and his mother was Santa Martello who resided in Scilla, Italy. He died at the age of 90 when his cigar fell in his chair and he was overcome with smoke inhalation. Leonora LaBate (nee Curreri) Alfred Russo Anna Russo (nee Attanasio)- was born in 1901. She had a sister Mamie and a brother Anthony. She was a seamstress. She loved Brooklyn. She had 3 children Agnes, Atoinette and a boy who died as a baby. She was step mother to Pauline. She died in Arizona of Alzheimers at the age of 90. She was married to Alfred Russo. Angelo LaBate- Santa Martelo Giralmo Curreri Caterina Baldasssano Victoria's Father's Side of the Family History James John Donovan was born January 26, 1950 in Mount Vernon, NY. James grew up in Tuckahoe, NY then moved to Wantagh, NY at the age of 12. James graduated from Gen. Douglas MacArthur HS in 1970 when he bought his first new car- a 1970 Plymouth Cuda. He then went to Nassau Community College and on to NY Institute of Technology at Old Westbury, NY. James majored in Accounting. James joined Metropolitan Life Ins in Manhattan where was employed as a Jr Accountant. Then James joined Grumman Aerospace as an accountant where he worked for 14 years. He then started his own trucking business-Donovan Motors Inc. James and Denise met while James was in college and worked as a cab driver. James' mother was Vivian Veronica Donovan (nee Carton)(d) and his father was Arthur Robert Donovan(d). James siblings were Arthur Jr(d), Barbara (d), Helen(d), Richard, Joeseph(d), Thomas(d) and Elizabeth. Arthur Robert Donovan was born June 23, 1916 and died June 1982 Vivian Veronica Donovan (nee Carton) was born December 7, 1917 and died September 16, 1993 Arthur Jeremiah Donovan Edna Donovan (nee Jones) Jeremiah Donovan- Brighton, England Dorothea Wurzbach- Germany David Carton- father of Vivian Veronica Donovan(nee Carton). born June 1885 in NY. Occupation:plumber. Married Mary Kenney. Brother to James and Mary Ellen Carton (twins), Thomas Carton, Frank Carton, Jannette Carton and Elizabeth Carton. Mary Kenney Thomas J. Carton- Born 1848 in Ireland. Died March 31, 1905, NY,NY. Buried in Calvery Cemetery,49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd, Woodside,Queens, NY. Emigrated from Ireland to NY in 1878. Married Ellen Kelly. Had seven Children. Occupation: Laborer, his residence was 370 10th Avenue, NY, NY. Ellen Kelly-Born March 10, 1861 in Ireland, died November 18, 1923 in NY, NY. She was the daughter of John Kelly and Mary Norton. Interred at Calvery Cemetery, Woodside Ave. Queens, NY. Emigrated from Ireland to NY in 1867. Seven children.
