My connection to the Valentine Family, who were farmers in Wrightington, Lancashire, is that Bill Valentine was my paternal grandmother's uncle. My father was born and lived his early childhood on Bill and Polly Valentine's farm; Boggart House, High Moor, Wrightington.

My Research Results

Bill Valentine of Boggart House, Wrightington

Bill Valentine married Polly Turner (b. 1879) my grandmother's aunt. They lived at Boggart House, High Moor Wrightington. My grandfather, Jack Pearson came from Storth in Westmorland to work as a labourer on the farm and here he met and married my grandmother May Anderton in 1930. My grandparents lived and worked at Boggart House throughout the 1930's and my father was born and brought up here.
