The Volunteer webpage is about the information you will need to know if you're thinking about helping us transcribe data for the Anderson History & Genealogy web site.

The first thing you should know, is that you may do as much or as little volunteer work as you like with us. In other words, if you only have one piece of information to contribute or would like to transcribe all the Anderson's in a census record it's up to you to choose.

The second thing to know is that if you transcribe data or contribute information about your Anderson research please always try to cite your sources. A source will help another researcher locate the information in the actual record, book or census and so on.

Wanda Anderson Lee is the Volunteer Coordinator and she's willing to help you with volunteering with the Anderson History and Genealogy project.
