Agnes Streul, 80, of Ottawa died Wednesday, July 25, at Community Hospital of Ottawa.

Mrs. Streul was born Sept. 5, 1920, in Ottawa, to Martin and Ellen (Murphy) Crawford. She married Victor H. Streul on Nov. 9, 1940, in Ottawa. He died April 21, 1992.

She was a member of St. Columba Church...

She and her husband founded Streul Floor Covering in 1946 and operated the business until retiring in 1978.

She is survived by a sister, Helen (Crawford) Jonason of Ottawa; a brother, Justin (Betty) Crawford of Antioch, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded on death by two brothers, Patrick and Joseph Crawford; and a sister, Mary Dennison.
