Harold Edward Caldecott [Parents] was born 1 on 27 Jan 1863. He died in 1931. He married Louise Gunst on 3 Mar 1892.
Harold Edward Caldecott was manager of the Colonial Bank of Australasia in the city of Footscray Victoria (Birmingham of Australia) from 1886 until 1902 when he resigned and went into business as an Estate Agent and builder. He continued in this line until 1918. In 1908 he became Mayor of the city and Chief Magistrate and as such acted as Honorary Chairman in the local court of Petty Sessions until his retirement in 1918.
His eldest son, Harold Leonard invalided during WWI succeeded him in the business as Estate Agent and builder upon his return and discharge from the military.
Upon retirement Harold Edward resided with his wife Louise and daughter Gwyneth at East St. Kilda, a suburb of Melbourne Australia.
Louise Gunst 1 was born in 1865. She married Harold Edward Caldecott on 3 Mar 1892.
They had the following children:

Roy Gunst Caldecott [Parents] 1 was born in 1893. He married 2 Blanche Elizabeth Harrison on 20 Apr 1922.
Roy Gunst Caldecott served in WWI having enlisted as a private and eventually rising to a commission and Acting Captain when he was wounded. He returned to civilian life in 1919. Roy was an officer for the Bank of Australasia, on leave, however after the war decided not to return to banking and resigned. He acquired an estate 130 miles north of Melbourne where he carried on as a sheep breeder in a rural setting until after 1931.
Blanche Elizabeth Harrison 1 was born in 1895. She married 2 Roy Gunst Caldecott on 20 Apr 1922.
