Edwinmobilised in Lethbridge Alberta prior to shipping overseas in 1916 as part of the Canadian forces. He was 19 years of age. His youngest sister Hilda, had spoken of Edwin as being her favourite brother; this possibly being that he and Hilda were the two youngest.
Served as a Lt. with the Royal Flying Corps during World War I, was killed in action in Belgium at age 21.
