    Gabriel Lantz, son of Christian and Maria (Hartzler)
Lantz was born Aug 27, 1827 in Williams County, Ohio.  He
married Caroline Reams (born Apr 2, 1836, died Apr. 29,
1903).  He was a farmer and lived and died on a 248 acre
farm about two miles northwest of Denver, Ind.  He died
July 4, 1902 and was buried at the Weasaw Church.  He had
descendents:

   1. John Henry, born Aug. 12, 1855, married Priscilla
      Tracy ( born Sept. 5, 1859, died Feb. 20, 1899), lived
      in and around Mexico, Logansport, Peru, Denver, and
      Indianapolis, Ind.  Was a farmer and travelled, selling
      mowers, binders, etc., and at one time had a store of
      General Merchandise in Mexico and a buggy store in
      Peru, married second time, Allie Page (no chil&en),
      shoe store at time of death, May 25, 1928;
