    George W. Lantz, son of George and Catherine (Wag-
man) Lantz was born Dec. 9, 1809.  He married Rebecca
Picking.  In 1844, he moved to Ohio where he resided on his
farm until his death.  His descendents are:

   2. Kathem, born July 6, 1842;
   3. John, born April 19, 1844, married Lucinda Morthland;
