          John Lentz was enrolled as private seventh class in
     Captain Duck's company Lancaster County Militia in 1780.
          John Lentz was enrolled as private sixth class in Cap-
     tain Steever's company Lancaster County Militia in 1782.
          John Lantz was enrolled as private first class in Cap-
     tain Weaver's company Lancaster County Militia in 1780
     to 1782.
          Christian Lentz was enrolled as private fourth class in
     Captain Steever's company Lancaster County Militia in
     1782.
          Christian Lentz was enrolled as private eighth.class in
     Captain Kendrick's company Lancaster County Militia (East
     Lampeter Twp.)
          George Lentz was enrolled as private second class in
     Captain Steever's company Lancaster County Militia.
          George Lentz was enrolled as private third class in
     Captain Weaver's company Lancaster County Militia in
     1782.
          Jacob Lentz was enrolled as private fourth class in
     Captain Weaver's company Lancaster County Militia in
     1782.
          Jacob Lentz (fourth class private) served under Cap-
     tain Kraus from Aug. 20 to Oct. 20, 1781 guarding British
     prisoners of war.
          Jacob Lentz was enrolled as private sixth class under
     Captain Jenkins' in Lancaster County Militia.
          Michael Lentz was enrolled as private second class in
     Captain Stores' company Lancaster County Militia.  May 1
     to June 30, 1781 he furnished a substitute, Frederick Steger
     who served under Captain Holdebarn.
          Henry Lance or Lantz was enrolled as private first class
     in Captain Elliott's company Lancaster County Militia in
     1780 and 1782.  He served in Northumberland County in
     1782.
          Samuel Lance was enrolled as private sixth class in
     Captain Davis' Company Lancaster County Militia in 1779.
          Andrew Lansz was enrolled as private in Captain Gear's
     company in 1783 and Andrew Lantz in Captain Kushter's
     company in 1782 (both fifth class) Lancaster County Militia.
          Michael Lance, private eighth class, and Peter Lance,
     private seventh class were enrolled in Captain IUeinhantz's
     company Northampton County Militia.
          Jacob Launtz was enrolled as private fifth class in Cap-
     tain Johnson's company Northampton County Militia.
