Mrs. Iva M. Krick

FRANKFORT - Mrs. Iva M. Krick, 89, of 305 Palmer St., passed away Wednesday, October 2, 1991, in the Masonic Home, Utica.

She was born in Schuyler on November 22, 1901, the daughter of the late Clayton and Marietta Worden Mower, and attended Frankfort schools.  She was married to Harold Krick on June 10, 1926, in Schuyler.  Mr. Krick passed awy on January 10, 1957.   She was a member of the Frankfort United Methodist Church and a former Sunday School Teacher there.

Mrs. Krick is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Doris Krick, Herkimer, Richard and Dorothy Krick, Dolgeville, and Rayond and Linda Krick, Ilion; one daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Carleton Brown, Frankfort; one son-in-law, Frank Reina, Utica; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by one daughter, Muriel Reina, on May 3, 1981; by one drandaughter, Rae Lynn krick, on May 21, 1967; one great grandson, Allen Irons, III on August 20, 1985; four brothers, Bert, Lester, James and Glenn Mower; and six sisters, Ruth Bender, Mae Beckwith, Wealthea Mower, Maude Gillete, Gertie Williams, and her twin sister Inez Mower.

Her funeral will be held Friday morning at 9:00 in the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave., Frankfort, with the Rev. Betty Denick, Pastor of the Frankfor United Methodist Church, officiating.  Interment will be in Oak View Cemetary.   Calling hours will be Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribuitons may be made to the Frankfort United Methodist Church New Building Fund.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.



Homer P. Mower

SCHUYLER - Homer P. Mower, 70, died Wednesday in the Ilion Hospital after a long illness.

He was born January 16, 1885 in the Town of Schuyler, son of Edwin and Sarah Thomas Mower.  He lived in Schuyler all his life.  He was a farmer, retiring due to ill health.

He leaves a brother, Edwin, of Schuyler; a niece and several cousins.
